Responsibility
The Embassy is responsible for facilitating the issuance of entry visas to Eswatini for all eligible nationals of countries of accreditation, as well as providing consular services to Emaswati in those countries of accreditation.
Entry Visa
- Currently, the Embassy facilitates the smooth entry to the Kingdom of Eswatini whereby travelers are issued a “visa-on-arrival confirmation letter.
- It is possible that nationals of certain countries are not required to have an entry visa to Eswatini; therefore, please refer to this link to determine the status of your country.

Application for new and renwal of International Passports
- This service is only provided to Emaswati (Eswatini nationals) residing in countries where the Embassy is accredited
- Press this link to see the list of documents required for the application for new or the renewal of the Eswatini international passport.
- To avoid any unnecessary inconveniences, the listed documents must be submitted to the Embassy as soon as you are aware of the need to renew or secure a new international passport. This would allow adequate time for the Embassy to liaise with the relevant Ministries in facilitating processing of your passport, as the process takes a minimum of one month.
Emergency Passport
The Emergency Passport is only issued to Emaswati (Eswatini nationals) returning to Eswatini, but have lost their passport or when the passport has been damaged.
The Emergency Passport:
- Is a one-way document (only used for returning to Eswatini); therefore, it cannot be used for any other purpose.
- Does not exempt the traveler from any immigration requirements/ regulations applicable in transit countries.
- Not evidence or confirmation of traveler’s nationality, to this end, relevant documents may be required to authenticate nationality of the traveler.
